Kin Delima's location is randomized between Sullust, Bothawui, and Mon Gazza. There is no fixed answer. Save before choosing, pick a planet, and if the trail goes cold, reload and try another. Finding her unlocks Nebulous Pursuit II; failing means the follow-up operation never appears. Both outcomes give +3 Zone Besh Influence and 1,000 credits, but only success unlocks the sequel.
What Is Nebulous Pursuit?
Nebulous Pursuit is an operation in Star Wars Zero Company where Zero Company is tasked with tracking down Kin Delima, a fugitive whose trail has gone cold across three possible planets. The operation is notable for its randomized location mechanic — the correct planet changes every playthrough.
This is one of the few operations in the game where RNG directly affects whether you unlock follow-up content, making it important to handle correctly.
The Three Possible Locations
When you start Nebulous Pursuit, you must choose which planet to send your operatives to. Kin Delima can be hiding on any of these three worlds:
| Planet | Description | Notable For |
|---|---|---|
| Sullust | A volcanic industrial world home to the Sullustan species and major mining operations. | SoroSuub Corporation, volcanic terrain, underground cities |
| Bothawui | Homeworld of the Bothan species, known for its spy network and political intrigue. | Bothan spies, information brokers, diplomatic missions |
| Mon Gazza | A lawless Outer Rim planet famous for its podracing circuits and criminal underworld. | Podracing, smuggling, Hutt cartel activity |
How to Guarantee Finding Kin Delima
Because the location is randomized, the only way to guarantee success is through save-scumming:
- Save your game at The Den before selecting a planet for Nebulous Pursuit.
- Choose one of the three planets and assign three operatives to the operation.
- If Kin Delima is there, the operation succeeds and you unlock Nebulous Pursuit II. Done.
- If you see the message "Unfortunately, Delima's trail ended", the operation completes as a failure.
- Reload your save and pick a different planet.
- Repeat until you find her. With only three options, you will find her within three attempts.
If you accept the wrong-planet result without reloading, Nebulous Pursuit II will never appear in your playthrough. The follow-up operation contains unique story content and rewards that you cannot obtain any other way. The 30 seconds it takes to save and reload are well worth it.
Reward Comparison
| Outcome | Zone Besh Influence | Credits | Unlocks Nebulous Pursuit II |
|---|---|---|---|
| Success (found her) | +3 | +1,000 | Yes |
| Failure (wrong planet) | +3 | +1,000 | No |
Notice that the immediate rewards are identical. The only difference is whether Nebulous Pursuit II unlocks. This is why save-scumming is strongly recommended — there is no downside to reloading, and you gain an entire additional operation.
What Is Nebulous Pursuit II?
Nebulous Pursuit II is the follow-up operation that appears only after successfully locating Kin Delima in the first mission. It continues the storyline and provides additional rewards including:
- More Zone Besh Influence
- Additional credits (up to 1,500)
- Exotic weapon modifications
- Further story development in the Kin Delima arc
Like the first mission, Nebulous Pursuit II may involve randomized elements, so apply the same save-before-choosing strategy.
Which Operatives to Send
Nebulous Pursuit is an off-screen operation — you assign three operatives and resolve it through the holotable without direct combat control. For best results:
- Send operatives with high combat stats in case the operation goes loud
- Include at least one Medic for safety
- Pair operatives with high bond levels for better synergy
- Avoid sending operatives who are already injured — they may accumulate more injuries
